It's no secret to those who know me well that I fell in love with Paris when we were there last year and that I now harbour an over-the-top passion for the place and anything associated with it. I'm sure it's all quite silly on my part. But anyway, the fact remains that I adore most French stuff.
So, imagine my glee when I discovered Formes -- a maternity wear boutique in Yorkville. Actually, Formes is the name of the maternity line. It's designed in France, and it is super chic. I've been contentedly wearing Rhonda up to now. Their stuff is well-cut, and the fabrication is pretty decent. But none of it really bowls you over. I've never thought -- gosh, that piece is really lovely, or, gosh, that piece is truly refined. But you do think those things of the Formes maternity line. Check out their current look book.

It doesn't show the entirety of the collection, so you won't be able to see the pieces I bought, but it gives you a sense of what it's all about. My favourite piece I picked up is a black and grey drop-waist dress in jersey. It feels great to know that I have something really becoming and special to wear while I'm pregnant.
