I just drank something like a litre of high-concentrate glucose solution. It was for the gestational diabetes test which I am a candidate for -- being a woman of colour and having a close family member currently living with diabetes. I'm not too worried though. There's never been any indication on the pee-stick tests I do at the start of each appointment that there's any excess glucose in my system.
Everything looks really good. Heart beat: Boyota's is in the normal range; mine is in the low-to-normal range. Steady weight gain. Top of the uterus measuring where it should be: 30 cm. I will be seeing my midwives more frequently now as I'm now into my third trimester -- every two weeks for the next while until the very end when I'll be seeing them every week, and then Boyota's big debut!
Anyway, here's another belly shot. Definitely getting big!
